◆ Godpip Get a key
Godpip Intelligence API

Understand people before your AI acts.

People type half-formed requests. Godpip turns them into clear, structured intent and gives any model the expert notes it needs to do the job right. One JSON call, any stack.

objective
Create a landing page for the user's dog-walking business.
explicit
  • The landing page is for the user's dog-walking business.
  • The user wants the page to feel friendly.
unknowns
  • Should prices appear on the page? (low, not blocking)
expert notes
  • Lead with a warm, clear value proposition and an obvious booking action.
  • Avoid invented prices, credentials, testimonials or guarantees.

Features

A layer between people and your models

Put Godpip in front of any assistant, agent or workflow. It keeps the person's meaning intact and tells your model what a professional would check.

Human Bridge

Live

Turns messy input into an objective, scope, deliverable, explicit facts, inferences, unknowns and constraints, each in its own field.

Expert notes

Augment mode returns the person's words untouched, followed by checks, pitfalls and a quality bar. In blind tests, answers built on it beat answers to the raw request.

Faithful by design

Only what the person said counts as explicit. A verifier keeps their hedges and negations, and reports every correction as a warning.

Your context stays yours

Send your platform's conventions and a user's preferences with a call. They are used for that call and never stored, logged or used for training.

Built for production

Async jobs, idempotent retries on every POST, signed webhooks with automatic retries, rate-limit headers and one error shape.

Any model, any stack

Plain JSON over HTTPS with an OpenAPI 3.1 contract. Generate a client in your language and send the result to the model you already use.

How it works

Three steps to better answers

Get a sandbox key

Sandbox keys start with gp_test_ and cost nothing. Production keys start with gp_live_.

Send the person's words

Post them exactly as written to /v1/bridge/translate, with your own context if you have it.

Use the result

Give augmented_input to your model, route on canonical_intent, and ask only the questions marked blocking.

Quickstart

Your first call

curl -sS https://api.godpip.com/v1/bridge/translate \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $GODPIP_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
  -d '{"input": "a short video ad for our coffee brand, vertical, maybe with a dog",
       "desired_output": "augment"}'
import os, uuid, requests

r = requests.post(
    "https://api.godpip.com/v1/bridge/translate",
    headers={"Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['GODPIP_API_KEY']}",
             "Idempotency-Key": str(uuid.uuid4())},
    json={"input": "a short video ad for our coffee brand, vertical, maybe with a dog",
          "desired_output": "augment"},
    timeout=60,
)
r.raise_for_status()
body = r.json()
prompt = body["result"]["augmented_input"] # send this to your model
const res = await fetch("https://api.godpip.com/v1/bridge/translate", {
  method: "POST",
  headers: {
    "Authorization": `Bearer ${process.env.GODPIP_API_KEY}`,
    "Content-Type": "application/json",
    "Idempotency-Key": crypto.randomUUID(),
  },
  body: JSON.stringify({
    input: "a short video ad for our coffee brand, vertical, maybe with a dog",
    desired_output: "augment",
  }),
});
const body = await res.json();
const prompt = body.result.augmented_input; // send this to your model

Good to know

  • Call from your server, never from a browser: the key is a secret.
  • A 200 carries the result. A 202 means the job is still running: poll GET /v1/jobs/{job_id} or subscribe to a webhook.
  • Retry with the same Idempotency-Key; you are never charged twice.
  • Errors share one shape, and recoverable tells you whether a retry can help.

Output modes

Ask for the shape you need

Set desired_output on each call. Every mode returns the same structured intent.

augment

The person's words untouched, plus expert notes. Best when the next step is a language model.Recommended

handoff

Compact intent with the original text, for agent-to-agent routing.

professional_brief

Intent plus a written brief, for people and planners.

canonical_intent

Intent only, for state and routing.

routing_only

The cheapest read of scope and solution space.

These endpoints are already specified in the OpenAPI document and return 501 until they launch. Your integration, keys and envelope stay the same.

Godpip is in early access. Ask the Godpip team for a free sandbox key, build against the docs, and switch to a production key when you are ready.
